Bergger Pancro 400 is a panchromatic black-and-white film built with two superimposed silver-halide emulsions of differing grain sizes and sensitivities. This dual-layer design gives an exceptionally wide exposure latitude, smooth tonality and a distinctive, characterful rendering at ISO 400.

Bergger Pancro 400 combines two emulsions using both silver bromide and silver iodide, with different grain sizes stacked together to broaden its dynamic range. The result is a 400-speed film with unusually generous latitude, holding detail in both bright highlights and deep shadows and rendering a long, smooth grey scale.
