T-Max 100 uses Kodak's tabular-grain technology to deliver extremely fine grain, high sharpness and impressive resolution. It is the choice for black-and-white work demanding clean, detailed enlargements.
Character & look
Built on flat T-grain crystals, T-Max 100 records fine detail with almost no visible grain and a long, smooth tonal scale. Its look is clean and modern rather than gritty, with excellent highlight separation and a straight characteristic curve that rewards careful metering. It is more sensitive to development time and temperature than classic cubic-grain films, so consistency in the darkroom pays off. Given good technique it produces negatives of remarkable acuity, making it ideal for landscape, architecture and studio work where big prints reveal every advantage of its resolving power.

Shooting & development tips
Develop precisely — T-Max films are less forgiving of over-development than Tri-X. T-Max developer or XTOL gives the smoothest results; use a tripod to exploit its resolving power.
