Generated color character — not a sample photograph
Provia 100F is Fujifilm's professional E-6 slide film balanced for natural color and moderate saturation. It offers slide-film sharpness and fine grain with more restraint and wider usefulness than Velvia.
Character & look
Provia delivers clean, accurate color with a gentle cool bias, moderate saturation and smoother contrast than Velvia, making it far more flexible for portraits, product and general use as well as landscape. Grain is ultra-fine and sharpness excellent, yielding pristine transparencies that project and scan beautifully. It has slightly better exposure latitude than most slide films and superb reciprocity characteristics for long exposures. The look is polished and neutral-cool, a professional's slide film for situations where Velvia's intensity would be too much but slide clarity and color fidelity are still wanted.

Shooting & development tips
Expose accurately and bracket in high contrast; it holds long exposures with minimal reciprocity shift. For punchier color, Velvia is the sibling; Provia keeps things natural.
