Ektar 100 is Kodak's most saturated, finest-grain color negative stock, built for landscape, nature and product work where punchy, vivid color is the goal.
Character & look
Vivid blues and greens, high contrast and near-slide-film saturation, but with the latitude of a negative film. Grain is essentially invisible. It is less forgiving of skin tones, which can skew ruddy, so it is aimed at scenics rather than portraits.

Shooting & development tips
Meter carefully — its latitude is narrower than Portra and it can go red in the shadows if underexposed. Beautiful with a polarizer for skies.
